Answer: Amy was sad because she was teased by her school mates.

Answer: The mayor explained that Amy taught a universal lesson by daring to make a simple wish. “Everyone wants and deserves to be treated with respect, dignity and warmth.” Hence, the mayor officially proclaimed December 21 as Amy’s Day.
2.) Write a short note on Amy’s wish.
Answer: Amy was a girl facing Cerebral Palsy, a muscle disorder and due to it she faced many challenges and teasing in her school which made her sad. With the help of her mother Amy participated in the Christmas wish contest at radio station WJLT in Fort Wayne. And using this platform Amy wished a day without teasing. Her wish is completed when her letter to Santa is published in newspaper and she got support from everyone including the mayor of the city.

Nagma had some problem in her ear last year. The doctor thought that it is because of the steel rings she had worn. She was happy that nobody would steal them.
